In the vein of the Brutal Death metal masters of Suffocation, Dying Fetus, and most notably Cannibal Corpse (probably the band who had the most influence in Death metal and especially for the label Sevared Records’ rosters), Insision from Sweden delivers a straight to the point Brutal Death metal of uncompromising exactitude.

Terminal Reckoning is the first release from Insision since 2012 and with a concise length of 35 minutes and only eight songs it is well edited and there is almost no flaws to the production, the song order and the mastery of the genre.

So don’t expect any melodic Death metal from Sweden when digging into Terminal Reckoning, they are a five piece band of brutality. Though not reinventing the genre or being too progressive, their music will please many fans of the aforementioned bands of the first paragraph.

This album is deserving the points it earned and the fact that it was well produced and well edited helps it for being an essential listening in the genre.
